We assure you our software is not malicious. If you get the warning it is because we do not have windows or android certifications that cost money which we can not afford. We built this with just pure knowlege of programming and dedication. This is why we hope for your contributions. We would like to make this project a reality and we may possibly release the project as open source which would make it a big contender with other apps such as jelly fin and kodi. If you contribute we can certify the application and release it in the android store and windows store. Despite all this, we still will continue to dedicate what time we have to further this project.

What is WebTV2.0 ?

WebTV2.0 is a small project built for the video enthusiast. WebTV utilizes libVLC on the android and windows side while utilizing video.js on the web.

The name was given based on the old association of the phillips magnavox WebTV application in the late 90s early 2000s. While the application shares the name, it has no association of features like the old box. In fact every modern TV is now a official webTV.

WebTV.20 Server

WebTV2.0 Server is a Streaming server that works as a proxy for your WebTV2.0 devices, especially for the web app, which can often run into CORS issues. Cross Origin

These are plugins contributed by the community. We are not responsible for plugins that you do contribute, but we try to share reliable sources and this is a decent one. This is a very very new project so the plugins we have are very limited . These plugins are Javascript plugins that anyone can create to connect to various sources of videos to watch
